Aha!, ntg much your APU is timing out during power state transitions (SMU/UVD). Kind a known issue with the amdgpu driver on older Acer laptops.
Have you tried disabling DPM? if not try this https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Kernel_parameters

amdgpu.dpm=0

if that’s too aggressive for your battery, try disabling only UVD power gating instead:

amdgpu.ppfeaturemask=0xfffd7fff

Testing amdgpu.ppfeaturemask=0xfffd7fff kernel option now. Will give it some time and then report back here as this issue doesn't happen often...

Unfortunately, those options didn't help to fix the issue completely. Using amdgpu.ppfeaturemask=0xfffd7fff only makes it happen less frequently ...

Because the GPU freezes mostly when viewing X/Twitter (on Brave browser), which requires me to put the cpu at performance setting (max cpu frequency) it overheats. This is indeed tied to acpi_thermal errors, so now i just set the cpu to 1-step-lower-than-max setting (2.7Ghz instead of 3Ghz w/ auto-boost to 3.6Ghz).

As for wifi i could try non-ct drivers (or sth like that), but i dont want to make things worse. Some say they do have other issues on their own. Yes it's annoying, but other than that wifi works good most of the time. In the meantime, i've upgraded the zen kernel:
